The ordinance codified in this title shall be known as “the zoning ordinance for the city of Lynden.” (Ord. 1000 § A(part), 1995).

In their interpretation and application, the provisions of this title shall be held to be the minimum requirements adopted for the promotion of the public health, safety and welfare of the city. Any land use listed in this title shall not be construed to include other uses, unless the phrasing of the provisions contained in this title clearly indicates that is intended. Whenever the provisions of this title are found to be in conflict with the provisions of any other ordinance, the provisions of this title shall prevail. (Ord. 1000 § A(part), 1995).
